Restaurant Review: The Green Gourmet

I have been meaning to try out The Green Gourmet for several months and I finally got the chance tonight! They are an all organic and natural foods market and café, and buy from local farmers as much as possible. My friend Melissa and her family were in town for a couple of nights, and we decided to check out The Green Gourmet for dinner. Restaurant Review: Efes Bistro – Fish & Grill House

My husband and I decided to try a new restaurant for our Friday night dinner out. We spotted Efes Bistro using an App on his Droid and decided to check it out. We were greeted warmly by the hostess who asked if we had reservations. Clearly, they are busy on a Friday night. We were able to get a cozy booth in the back and noticed we were quite a bit younger than all of the other clientele. They seem to have loyal customers so that is always a good sign. Read more

Restaurant Review: DIG Delray

My husband and I went to DIG for my birthday dinner. I love anything local and organic so DIG, which stands for “Doing It Green” is my kind of place.

We began with the seared sea scallop appetizer, I did not take a picture but it was two giant sea scallops on a bed of spinach with roasted tomatoes on the side. After discovering my newfound love for scallops, I knew I had to try restaurant prepared scallops again and these were cooked perfectly! Read more
